❖ Daniel Okara
Daniel is the CEO of African Sapphire, a corporate body recognized by the Corporate Affairs Commission. With the purpose of hosting events – award shows, charity events among others – African Sapphire is headed by the one time BUSA senator. Daniel is an excellent team leader, mentor, brother and friend to many. A 500 level student of Medical Laboratory Science, he is definitely a man on a mission. From award shows to cycling competitions, partnering with various events on campus and juggling academics and social life, Daniel is one man to look out for.
❖ Ibukun Joyce
is a young entrepreneur that started with selling ‘pin pop’ sweets in high school. Her show, The IBK Show, is a Vlog that serves as a platform for talking to youths, inspiring and motivating people. It came up as a result of her love for meeting people and sharing experiences. Ibukun has interviewed Dremo, Glenn Judo, Furehx and Odun for her show. She’s also hosted a Vox Pop at Konamii2016, the Uninfluenced event at Babcock University where she interviewed Praise Fowowe and also her departmental dinner. Ibukun Joyce is one lady to keep an eye out for in the Media world.
❖ Praise Oluwarinu and Hadiza Adeleke
These two first year students of International Law and Diplomacy and Law respectively are taking the university by storm a step at a time with an events planning service – Elites Events Management Services – running on and off campus, Praise and Hadiza have organised proms, concerts, birthdays, get togethers, amongst others. Apart from organizing events, they provide side packages such as Photography and Makeup Packages, Cakes, Small Chops and Cocktails Packages amongst others. These two girls may seem young and small but they are a lethal force in the entrepreneurial world.
❖ Adedotun Balogun
Adedot is a pretty popular name on campus which doubles as a brand. The 2nd year student is a photographer, graphic designer and video director who majors in Enthusiastic Photography. He is also a public figure/personality who hosts and promotes events and brands. His new multipurpose franchise, 23:51 Empire consists of an art empire and an entertainment sector for now in partnership with other artistes and public figures in promoting various forms of art in general. Our eyes are on this one, yours should be too.
❖ Familuisi Mercy
Mercy is a household name in beauty and makeup. With her own makeup brand, GlamByDee, her makeup tutorials and skin treatment videos are viral both in and outside Babcock University. Her last program, Naturals On Campus was a hit back to back with ladies trooping in to learm about how to take care of their hair, skin and general body care. Mercy is one lady to take note of.
❖ Ngozi Ejionueme
Ngozi is a photographer extraordinaire with a lot of works to his name. From portraits to assists to candid photographs, Ngozi is one amazing photographer. But that’s not even the exciting part. Aside his photography, he’s the creative director for XLT Photography, a photography media outlet and also an editor for Lucid Lemons, a platform that showcases Nigerian talent. Ngozi is in his first year studying International Law and Diplomacy.
❖ Shogo Olufunto Oluwasemilore
Popularly known as Shé, Semilore is a 100 level student of Law. She owns a clothing line called Shé, because, according to her, her name is Semilore and she’s a young FEMALE entrepreneur, “so it is a feminist movement on the low”. Shé has become a popular brand among students both on and off campus with her caps haven been worn by celebrities such as Lil Kesh, Dice Ailes, Ycee and Viktoh.
❖ Daniel Okuneye
Daniel is a 300level Accounting student. He runs and manages an exclusive footwear brand, DN Footwears, which provides quality footwear at affordable prices. DNFootwears has managed to have if not a full, but at least half, monopoly of the school.
❖ Gbadamosi Oladotun
A 300Level student of International Law and Diplomacy. He is the CEO of “OLLA” clothings, a brand involved in unisex clothings with specialization in menswear. Also, OLLA is involved in personal styling and photography.
❖ Adeyinka Adeleke
Popularly called SDQ, Yinka is a 17 year old multitasking entrepreneur. Haven worked for clubs and major events alike, SDQ is a graphic and brand designer, an art director for Euphonic Music Label, a video editor and also a co-owner for Just Kulture, his personal clothing line. A first year student, Yinka has worked for Ycee, Odunsi (The Engine), Chuza Declan, Famous Bobson, amongst loads of others.
