The good people at mashable.com think what Kanye West did on twitter is a veiled appeal for some form of funding.
Here’s what they think…
Kanye West does a lot of bragging — about his music, his fashion line and even his wife.
But the artist took an oddly humble turn earlier this week by asking for a massive dose of financial help from none other than Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg.
The plea of monetary aid came, of course, via Twitter, where Kanye wrote, “Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas … after realizing he is the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time.”
Was Kanye making a prediction or a request? It’s hard to know for sure, but it’s not difficult to interpret it as a veiled request for funding considering it came just a day after Kanye claimed to have “53 million dollars in personal debt.”
Hmmm, what do make of these twitter rants in these days of social media drama?
